Turn gameplay recordings into a montage, a walkthrough or a short worth sending to the group chat. Keep the setup that makes the payoff land.

Shape the full episode, then build short clips around the ideas people will remember. Keep your guest’s point intact, even when the edit gets shorter.

Build vertical videos around one idea: a reveal, a useful tip, a story or a product in action. Bring the hook, captions and pacing together without losing your voice.

Cut a recipe people can follow, from the first ingredient to the finished plate. Give essential steps space and let the textures do some of the talking.

Make workout follow-alongs, coaching clips and form breakdowns with deliberate pacing. Keep the whole movement visible and your cues easy to understand.

Turn property footage into a coherent tour. Show how rooms connect, give the details time to register, and make a separate short for the listing’s standout feature.

Turn lessons, screen recordings and demonstrations into something learners can use. Keep steps in order and leave room to understand the difficult part.

Build performance clips, release teasers and music videos around the track. Let a change in energy earn a change in the edit.

Make hands-on reviews, product demos and launch clips that answer real questions. Show the detail, the use case and the tradeoffs behind your verdict.

Turn a product recording into a launch video, SaaS demo or feature announcement. Guided briefs, a recording checklist and optional expert help.

A full timeline editor with an AI agent — describe the edit, watch it happen. Captions, cuts, color, keyframes, multicam.

Get a scoped edit from an experienced Vidmoat editor, or apply to earn from paid collaborations.

One-job pages that just do the thing: auto captions, silence remover, auto reframe, background remover and more.

Mac and Windows apps with local media import and supported local MP4 exports. AI and cloud services need an internet connection.

Send a clip to @vidmoat_bot on Telegram (or WhatsApp, or Discord) and describe the edit. It comes back cut — same timeline, same credits.

A feed of cuts made in Vidmoat — every post carries its "how it was made", and the good ones are remixable in one tap.

A weekly challenge: one prompt, one starting recipe, one hashtag, a deadline. Entries live on the Social feed.

An optional $9.99/mo scheduler — content plan, calendar, autoposting, analytics. Not the Creator $19 plan; a separate add-on that happens to share the word.

Creator-written GLSL shader effects you can drop on any clip — and a storefront for your own shaders.

Third-party powers inside the agent: stock search, music generation, AI avatars, web research, 3D animation and more.

Publish a finished video as a reusable style and program, then apply it to new footage. No media travels with it, only the recipe.

Drive your projects from your own agent — Claude, or anything that speaks MCP — with the same commands the editor uses.

Ship your own plugin into the marketplace: an MCP server, a manifest, a review.

The guide — auth, signatures, media, OAuth plugins, and how invocation actually works.

Connect your own Claude Code and pick it in the editor’s prompt bar. It runs sandboxed on our server, on your credential, billed by your provider.

Honest side-by-sides against Descript, CapCut, Premiere and the rest — including where they win.

A small room for questions. The Vidmoat bot is in there too, so you can /edit from the server.

Stuck, billing question, found a bug — talk to us.

Who builds it, the registered company behind it, and how to reach a person.

Stuck on a cut? Hand the project to a real editor. They get temporary access to that project only, and it ends when the job does.

Tell us what is broken or missing and get AI credits back for it. We read all of it.

Cut every dead-air gap in one pass — pacing without the razor work.

Every “um”, “uh” and “erm” cut from the transcript — text-based editing for cleanup.

Detect the beats, drop markers, cut on the grid — montages that hit.

Chroma key and AI background replacement, right on the timeline.

One edit becomes TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube — reframed, not squished.

Steady a handheld clip, review the crop, and keep editing in your browser.

Cinematic looks, custom curves, LUT import, and adjustment layers over everything.

Music dips under every line of dialogue — the polish everyone hears but nobody notices.

Type a prompt, get a transparent sticker on your timeline.

Keyframed speed curves — slow-mo into whip-fast, on one clip.

Any edit exports as a looping GIF — captions, effects and all.

Click a subject once — text, stickers and blurs follow it through the shot.

Drop in every angle, sync by sound, switch cameras with number keys.

Type the script, get natural speech on the timeline — timed and ready to duck the music.

Generate b-roll and establishing shots from a prompt, straight into your edit.

Word-timed transcripts, generated on your device — free, private, and editable.

Parametric 3D characters, supercars and buildings — animated, rendered, and dropped on your timeline.

Record twenty seconds, get a voice. Give each line its own delivery, train it on a few minutes of reading until it sounds like you and not a cousin of you, then publish it with a page anyone can listen to and use. Here is how the new voice system works, honestly.

Nine models, 81 tasks, 729 runs, truth known by construction. We found seven bugs in our own measurement before we found anything about the models, and each one produced a number that looked like a result. Here is the benchmark, the board, and the debugging.

One customer problem, one real workflow, one next step. A practical playbook for founders turning a screen recording into a product demo.

Give a language model a video editor's API and it will confidently place a caption 300px off the canvas, because nothing in the loop ever told it what the frame looked like. This is a perception problem, not a reasoning problem — and it is fixable.

Most advice for new creators is really advice for freelance videographers from 2014. The job has changed: the scarce thing is no longer the ability to operate an editor, it is having something to say and the stamina to keep saying it. Here is our definition of video creation, and the roadmap we would give anyone starting now.

MCP lets Claude call a video editor directly. Here is what that actually looks like in practice — the setup, the commands worth knowing, and the parts that still need a human eye.

Telegram video bots have existed for years, but they take commands like /trim and /rotate. This is different: you describe the edit in plain language and an agent performs it on a real timeline.

Most "AI video editing" is a set of buttons with a model behind each one. An agent is different: it reads the project, decides which operations to run, and executes them. That distinction changes the workflow.

Exporting the same 16:9 file to every platform wastes most of the screen and buries your subject. Repurposing properly means reframing, not just resizing — and it does not have to mean four separate edits.

The worst bug in a video editor is not a crash. It is the edit that looks finished and is not — the clip that comes out black, the voiceover that exports silent. Nothing warns you, so you assume the tool is broken and you leave. Otto is our answer to that.

Two editors in one timeline used to be a race nobody knew they were in. Here is how Vidmoat handles it now, and why nobody loses an afternoon to it.

Most gaming footage fails not because the play was bad but because the edit buried it. Here is how to find the moment in six hours of capture and cut it so it lands.

A recorded podcast is not one edit, it is two: a full episode people listen to and short clips people scroll past. The mistake is doing both with the same technique.

A recipe video has two jobs at once: it has to be followable and it has to make somebody hungry. This is how to cut one so it does both, from the first ingredient card to the plated hero shot.

A form breakdown and a follow-along workout are two different films and they need two different edits. Here is how each one is actually cut, and what goes wrong when you treat them the same.

Most listing videos lose the viewer before the front door closes. Here is how to order a walkthrough, hold the frame, put the specs on screen and cut one timeline into both a landscape listing version and a vertical social version.

Your student is not watching your lesson, they are following it with a keyboard under their hands. That single fact changes what you cut, how fast you cut it, and why the first fifteen seconds should not be about you.

A music video is the only kind of video where the timing is decided before you shoot. This is how to edit to the track instead of to the footage, from bar-level structure down to word-level lyric timing.

Every product page already has photos. A product video only earns its place by answering what the photos left unanswered, and most of them never get around to it.
